The Belltech 5980 lowering multi-pack leaf springs are designed to lower select trucks by 3-4 inches in the rear while retaining load-carrying capacity and proper spring rate. Unlike add-a-leaf or block kits that compromise ride quality or cause axle wrap, these are purpose-built from the ground up.

Each spring pack uses multiple graduated-length leaves manufactured from SAE 5160 silicon-manganese steel, shot-peened for fatigue resistance. The springs are pre-arched to achieve the specified drop and include interleaf liners for friction-free cycling. Belltech blue powdercoat finish.

Bolt-on replacement for factory leaf springs. Sold as a pair with all mounting hardware and bushings. Requires basic hand tools and spring clamps for safety. Pair with Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shocks and front lowering springs.

Lower it right with engineered leaf springs. Proper spring rate selection is critical for suspension performance; these springs are application-matched for the specific vehicle weight and intended use. The Belltech 5980 multi-pack delivers drop, capability, and ride quality. Order your set.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much weight can the Belltech leaf springs support on my your vehicle?

The Belltech leaf springs for your your vehicle support up to 1,500 pounds of load capacity per pair depending on the specific spring pack configuration. The multi-leaf design distributes weight across 3 to 5 leaves each measuring approximately 0.25 to 0.375 inches thick. These Belltech leaf springs restore or increase your your vehicle's payload capacity beyond factory specifications.

Will the Belltech multi-pack leaf springs raise the rear of my your vehicle?

Yes, the Belltech multi-pack leaf springs typically raise the rear of your your vehicle by approximately 1.0 to 2.5 inches depending on the spring arch and application. The increased arch height provides additional ground clearance for larger tires or towing applications. These Belltech leaf springs correct sagging rear suspension on high-mileage your vehicle while improving load capacity.

What is the spring rate of the Belltech leaf springs for my your vehicle?

The Belltech leaf springs for your your vehicle have a combined spring rate of approximately 250 to 400 lbs/in depending on the number of leaves and their thickness. The primary leaf carries roughly 40 percent of the load with the secondary leaves adding progressive support. These Belltech leaf springs provide a linear rate through the first 3 inches of travel before the overload leaf engages.

Do the Belltech leaf springs include new bushings and hardware for my your vehicle?

The Belltech leaf spring kit for your your vehicle includes new interliners between each leaf, center bolts, and spring clip assemblies. Some kits include new polyurethane bushings for the spring eyes and shackle mounting points. These Belltech leaf springs typically do not include U-bolts and require ordering them separately for your your vehicle's axle tube diameter.

Can I remove a leaf from the Belltech spring pack to lower my your vehicle?

It is not recommended to remove leaves from the Belltech spring pack on your your vehicle as it weakens the spring pack and can cause spring breakage. The leaves are engineered as a progressive system where each leaf contributes to the total rate. These Belltech leaf springs should be replaced entirely if you need a different ride height for your your vehicle.

How much does the Belltech leaf spring pack weigh for my your vehicle?

The Belltech leaf spring pack for your your vehicle weighs approximately 35 to 55 pounds per spring depending on the number of leaves and steel thickness. A 4-leaf pack typically weighs around 40 pounds each while heavy-duty 6-leaf packs can weigh up to 60 pounds. These Belltech leaf springs are made from SAE 5160 spring steel for fatigue resistance.
