BBK Performance headers (1511) are purpose-built for engine-swapped Mustangs and late-model Ford applications. These long-tube headers clear aftermarket K-members and provide a significant upgrade over restrictive factory manifolds. The 1.625-inch primary tubes with 3-inch collectors support builds from mild street packages to stroker combinations making 450+ hp. Expect a broad torque improvement and a 20-30 hp gain on a typical performance engine with a cam and intake upgrade.

Constructed from 16-gauge mandrel-bent steel with a durable metallic-ceramic thermal barrier coating that reduces under-hood temperatures and resists corrosion. The coating also improves exhaust gas velocity by retaining heat in the primary tubes. Flanges are laser-cut 3/8-inch thick for a warp-free seal. Gaskets and ARP header bolts are included. The thermal coating reduces under-hood temperatures by up to 30% compared to uncoated headers.

These headers require an aftermarket tubular K-member for proper clearance. Designed to work with BBK or compatible aftermarket H-pipe and X-pipe systems.
